Every data point comes directly from FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) federal records. We pulled over 31.9 million records… from 8 different government platforms… to build this dataset and we update them nightly. No proprietary black-box scores.

FMCSA’s DataQ system lets carriers request reviews and corrections to their safety data. Your FMCSA record directly impacts your insurance rates and the loads brokers offer. GV’s DataQ Analysis pulls your FMCSA records and shows you the available DataQ challenge categories for each item — crashes, violations, and inspections. You see the facts, the filing deadlines, and the severity. What you do with that information is entirely up to you.

FMCSA’s DataQ system is available to every carrier, but most don’t know how to use it. GV’s DataQ Assist walks you through the process — outlines the evidence FMCSA documentation guidelines call for, provides structured submission templates with regulatory citations, and gives you a checklist so nothing gets missed. We don’t file for you. We don’t tell you what to challenge. We give you the tools and the guidance to make your own decisions and do it right the first time.

FMCSA requires a Police Accident Report (PAR) for all CPDP crash challenges. Requests submitted without a PAR will be immediately closed (CPDP FAQs, FMCSA.dot.gov). At the Pro tier, PAR Assist helps you locate and obtain the official police report from over 5,000 jurisdictions across the country.

We use the same public FMCSA data that everyone else uses. The difference is overhead. We’re a lean team with modern infrastructure, and we believe transparency in freight shouldn’t have a massive paywall. Our introductory pricing is designed to build the community — when prices go up, early adopters keep their rate for a full year.
